PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The symposium will take place at the The Ambassador Seoul – A Pullman Hotel, 287, Dongho-ro 17-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea.

  • The 1st, 2nd Day events will take place at the GRAND BALLROOM (2F).
  • The 3rd Day events will take place at the NAMSAN ROOM (19F).
There shall be provision of lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments for the scheduled breaks on each day of the conference for confirmed participants.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English and Korean.

Participants are advised to secure and finalize their own accommodation reservations directly with the selected hotel of choice through the mentioned contact details. Participants are advised to secure hotel accommodation as soon as possible.

Participants will be responsible for the payment of hotel accommodation and any incidental expenses (such as telephone calls, laundry and room service) incurred for the duration of their stay at the hotel.

Please ensure that all expenses are settled prior to checking out of your accommodation.

The national currency of Korea is the ‘Won’ (– currency sign: KRW (\). The current rate of exchange for USD is approximately USD 1 = KRW1,287; Euro is approximately EUR 1 = KRW1,430

Foreign currency can be exchanged at banks, hotels and forex bureau. All major international credit cards are generally accepted in hotels, shops and restaurants.

Banks in Korea are open from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00.

There are currency exchange counters located in the arrival and departure areas of Incheon International Airport, Gimpo International Airport.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

All visitors to Korea must have a valid passport or legal travel documents, and must check beforehand entry visa requirements, by clicking here. On the website, you can select the nationality of your passport below for more information. The passport expiration date must be more than:

  1. Check for visa requirement based on the nationality of your passport
  2. If a visa is required, you must apply for a visa based on the purpose of your visit
  3. Entrants with a visa waiver must apply for K-ETA and receive approval 72 hours before departure

Visa waivered (free) Countries:

From April 1, 2023, until December 31, 2024, 22 countries/regions are temporarily exempted from K-ETA application. However, if you wish to benefit from K-ETA application, such as skipping the entry form, you can apply for K-ETA and the fee will be charged. Register for K-ETA

K-ETA has been in place since September 1, 2021, and allows visa-free entry. Without K-ETA, travelers cannot board planes or ships heading to Korea.

QUARANTINE INSPECTION REQUIRED AREAS
